Iβve tested all caffeine protocol

Caffeine βοΈ is the most used psychoactive drug on the planet π
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
If you stop it abruptly, you will have withdrawals. This includes:
β Headache
β Depressed Mood
β Difficulty concentrating
β Irritability
Imagine feeling all this while dehydrated and fasting π΅βπ«π΅βπ« -
You have 3 options:
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
β Wean off of caffeine before Ramadan β°
β Drink your usual caffeine at suhoor βοΈ π₯€
β Intelligently π§ use extended release caffeine supplement π -
1. Wean off:
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
It will take you 6-10 days to wean off. During the wean off period youβre bound to feel worse
But itβs key to get optimal sleep during this time to combat this
Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors. Once you wean off youβll have a surge of adenosine and will be π΄ -
This is what I would use to wean off if I was a 2 cup βοΈ of coffee drinker:
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
Days 1-2: 1 cup off coffee (1β2 original dose)
Days 3-4: 1β2 of coffee (1β4 original dose)
Day 5: 1β4 cup of coffee or 1 cup of tea (1β8 original dose)
Day 6-10: No caffeine beverages at all -
If youβre pressed for time, this is an expedited, more painful protocol:
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
Day 1: 1 cup of coffee (1β2 original dose)
Day 2: 1β2 cup of coffee (1β4 original dose)
Day 3: Cup of tea or no caffeine
Day 4-5: Complete cessation -
This is best done BEFORE. If youβre not fat adapted, withdrawing from caffeine while fat adapting is MISERABLE

Caffeine withdrawal, low blood sugar, and dehydrated
Thatβs the perfect way to have severe headaches π€ -
2. If you are an early riser and you stay awake after suhoor, you can just drink your usual dose βοΈ
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
If youβre used to drinking through out the day, start only the drink in the morning to adapt -
3. Extended release caffeine supplements π
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
These have been a GAME CHANGER
Coffee peaks in your blood quickly and a few hours later youβre ready for your next dose
These extended release formulations slowly release into your blood stream and give you consistent energy -

CAFFEINE SUPER NAP βοΈ π΄:
— Abud Bakri MD π (@AbudBakri) March 19, 2023
