It's not about keeping your LDL low, whether via statins or anything else;
not about eating a low-protein vegetarian diet;
not about taking metformin or nicotinamide riboside. -

1. Don't eat ultra-processed foods loaded with refined carbs, sugar, and seed oils.

Eat real whole foods: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, fruit, and vegetables. -
2. Build muscle.

Aging leads to muscle loss, resulting in poor metabolic health - not to mention weakness, lack of energy, and frailty.
Lift weights.
And be physically active daily. -
3. Maintain good body composition: relatively low body fat - especially low visceral fat - and relatively high muscle mass.
