Sources of mental rest are:
• Breaks
• Boundaries
• Mindfulness
Schedule breaks and tie-in stretching, meditation or walks.
Set boundaries around technology use and your work.
Practice mindfulness in these three ways: journaling, meditation and breathwork. -

Physical rest allows our bodies to repair and restore themselves.
To restore yourself physically, take regular breaks and get a good night's sleep.
Engage in physical activity that is enjoyable, not overly strenuous and sustainable. -

When I meditate or go for a walk in nature without headphones I always have new creative ideas I can act on. -

1.Practice gratitude
2.Spend time in nature
3.Engage in prayer or meditation
4.Engage in activities that promote a sense of awe and wonder
5.Reflect on your values and purpose and engage in activities that align with them -

Sensory rest involves taking a break from sensory input and creating a calm and soothing environment.
Limit exposure to overwhelming sensory inputs: loud noises, bright lights, etc.
Create a soothing environment with soft light, pleasant smells and calm music. -

Today, we’re hyper-connected and it drains us.
Set boundaries around your emotional labor and say no to emotional demands that feel overwhelming or taxing.
Practice healthy communication and conflict resolution skills to reduce emotional stress. -
