The Power of the Well-Read Man
Ray Bradbury's quote, "A book is a loaded gun in the house next door…Who knows who might be the target of the well-read man?" serves as a reminder of the power of knowledge. This blog explores how some parents are becoming more terrified of everything and leaving their own children with nothing, and how this has led to a place where parents possess a huge power over teachers and librarians and discriminate books for everyone's children.

I find that some parents are slowly becoming more terrified of everything and end up leaving their own children with nothing. Then we somehow ended up in a place where parents possess this huge power over teachers and librarians and discriminate books for EVERYONE'S children.

As the world changes some of you all grow more terrified of the world. You stay in your little comfort zone and you fear the "other" but the fact is that the world, heck, THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, is in constant change.

Think about your parents or grandparents who never want want to touch a computer or anything tech based. They keep pining for the "good old days" and how things were "better" back then.

The cruel nature of the universe is that it will change wether you like it or not -
The universe doesn't care if you change with it. The world will continue to change while you continue to fear the "other" until it's too late until, suddenly, it's all around you.

Fine. Censor our book. It will just be ONE in a long line of MANY other books to come that you will object to. But I want you to know one thing... In the end of it all, change will win. It always wins. It's the way the universe was meant to be.

You may say, "NOT ON MY WATCH" but I just want you to know the in the end. You will inevitably lose...
