Your "luck" doesn't happen by accident, it's something you create through your life by taking the right actions.
Let's dive into a few of these, -
• Show Up
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
80% of success is showing up.
This is your life - you're the artist of your masterpiece.
Showing up is about being present in the moment and consistent in the areas that matter in your life.
Day in. Day out. -
• Own Your Shit
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
Unless you win the lottery, nobody will hand you a $1 million check.
You have to own your life:
• Know what you want
• Understand what it takes
• Do the work. Day in. Day out -
• Be Humble
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
Humility goes a long way.
It allows you to maintain a beginner's mindset.
Successful people don't like to be with arrogant people who have all the answers.
Humility will allow you to be around successful people, which will enable you to grow in specific ways. -
• Have a Plan
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
A crap map is better than no map.
To create your plan:
1. Know what you want
2. Understand what it takes
Look to people who've achieved what you want to achieve.
• Study them as a guide
• Reach out to them for advice -
• Be Willing to Fail
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
Failure isn't the opposite of success. It's part of success.
Too many people don't start because they're afraid to fail.
Start even if you're afraid of failing.
If you fail, start again, and again, until you succeed. -
• Learn From Failure
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
Failures are the stairs you'll climb to reach your success.
Failures lead to success when you're willing to learn from the loss and keep going - Ask:
- why did I fail
- what can I change
- how will it work differently -
• Be in the Right Room
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
Your Circle is your Net Worth.
If your friends are wealthy, you will be.
If your friends are physically fit, you will be.
Surround yourself with people who have achieved what you want in life, and
You'll find yourself reaching the same. -
• Outwork the Room
— Clint Murphy (@IAmClintMurphy) June 9, 2023
None of this matters without work.
If you know what you want, create a plan to achieve it, and do the daily work, you'll win.
Have a Blue-Collar work ethic in a White-Collar world.
Grind it out until you succeed.
If you do this, you will. -
