But it does require making it a priority.
“Going with flow” means getting average outcomes.
And the last thing you want in 2023 is to be average. -

Health problems are common these days.
But they’re not normal in a historical sense.
Human biology hasn’t changed in the last 50 years.
(Or the last 500 years.)
So we shouldn’t be heavier than our grandparents were. -
You know human health isn’t going well when the average human female of 2023 is 5 foot 4 and weighs more than the average human male of the 1960s.

Meanwhile the average male is about 20% fatter.
There are no other species where this is happening. -
And we’re strictly talking about weight here, we’re not even getting into the cause-effect relationship between poor metabolic health and chronic disease:

•More pre-diabetes and diabetes
•More fatty liver
•More autoimmune conditions
It doesn’t have to be this way. -
Here’s an example of my client Pedro, who previously followed the advice that more is more.

Working out 7 days per week but wasn’t making progress.
We fixed his training and reduced it to 2 optimized sessions per week.
Dropped 30 pounds in ~12 weeks. https://t.co/nPhczYXA2K
