How to learn to code when you have a 9-5 and aren’t sure where to start?

Top five things to do: -
1. Avoid quitting your job and attending a bootcamp until you are sure you like to code. I watched a ton of people in my bootcamp drop out because they realized they didn’t like to code.

2. Pick one tutorial/course and stick to it. Don’t switch when it gets hard. Being an engineer is about working through problems.

3. Pick a language to focus on that matches your goals. Find your dream job posting and reverse engineer the skills you need.

4. Don’t be scared to interview. I spent almost a year learning how to code before attending a coding bootcamp. I wish I had either just applied to jobs earlier or attended the bootcamp earlier!

5. Set aside some time every day to make learning to code your priority.
