Are #SeedOils healthy?
That depends on who you ask.
But if you’re a multi-million dollar industry with a lot of money to lose, you’d probably say whatever you could to keep the dollars rolling in — whether the claims are true or not.
Here are the hard facts. -

Seed oils were mostly used as mechanical lubricants, until Crisco hit the market in 1911.
Today, they’re a staple of the American diet:
Canola oil
Corn oil
Cottonseed oil
Soybean oil
Sunflower oil
Safflower oil
Grapeseed oil
Rice bran oil

There’s a lot of evidence linking seed oil to #HeartDisease.
The presence of polyunsaturated fat (PUFA) increases coronary risks.
The omega-6 ratio increases inflammation.
There's also little to no nutritional value.
So are seed oils healthy?

It’s not simply that seed oils are unhealthy, but rather they’re so prevalent in our food that most people consume too much, causing the problems above.
Seed oils can be found in
Coffee creamer
Hummus
Microwave popcorn -

If you want to stay off my operating table, you need to cut seed oils out of your diet.
Instead, try:
Olive oil
Avocado oil
Coconut oil
Butter / ghee
Animal fats
But beware: some brands cut their products with seed oils to lower the price, so do your research. -
