10 Lessons Learned from the Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge
Two weeks ago, I ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. Here are 10 lessons I learned on persistence and pushing past your limitations, such as giving it your all, setting big goals, and understanding your why.

The Goggins 4x4x48 is one of the toughest challenges I’ve done.
Here’re 10 lessons I learned (on persistence and pushing past your limitations): pic.twitter.com/g9p2abT2r7 -
🔷 Set Big Goals
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
"Set goals so big that you think you can't achieve them."
Small goals that you know you'll reach are worthless.
The fear of failure, the insecurity, the doubt...
That's where you grow.
But failure isn't fatal, it's just a rep, a chance to learn and improve. -
🔷 Give it Your All
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“If you choose to do something, attack it.”
There's no half-assing your way to greatness.
Top performers are obsessed with their objective.
Focus on your goal and become relentless. -
🔷 Believe in Yourself
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“The most important conversation you’ll have in life is the one with yourself.”
You have to believe in something.
Start with yourself.
Who are you?
What have you done?
What can you do?
Big goals are achievable when you believe. -
🔷 Discipline is Your Ticket to Freedom
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“Discipline is the only thing in this world, the only thing, that will change your DNA.”
Motivation is fleeting.
You can’t rely on it when it gets hard.
If you want to realize your full potential, make discipline the default. -
🔷 You’re Stronger Than You Think
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“Don’t stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done.”
When your mind has had enough. When it screams to quit...
You’ve only just begun to tap into your potential.
Limits exist in your mind only.
Keep going to reset the baseline higher. -
🔷 Build Your Circle
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“Never let people who choose the path of least resistance steer you away from your chosen path of most resistance.”
People who think your goals are too big want to bring you down to their level.
Only let in those who share your growth mindset. -
🔷 Struggle is the Foundation of Growth
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“You’re in danger of living a life so comfortable, that you’ll die without realizing your potential.”
We live in a world of abundance. Everything we want at our fingertips.
The life you want is just beyond the edge of your comfort zone. -
🔷 Every Day You Start at Zero
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“Nobody cares what you did yesterday. What have you done today?”
You can’t rest on past accomplishments.
Prior success doesn’t guarantee future greatness.
Each new day is your opportunity to improve.
There is no finish line. -
🔷 Break Yourself Down to Build Back Stronger
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“Seeds burst from the inside out in a self-destructive ritual of new life.”
Strength training breaks down muscle so it comes back stronger.
You have to do the same thing with your mind.
Push through the desire to quit. Keep going. -
🔷 The Only Limit is in Your Mind
— Jeremy Singh (@singhcredible) March 21, 2023
“It’s possible to transcend anything that doesn’t kill you.”
Your mind will put up barriers, telling you to stop.
You have to push that voice aside.
And know…
It either breaks you, or you breakthrough. -
That's it! Thanks for reading my thread.
