He started working on startups on the side (around writing).
But he had no money... (How did he afford tuition?) -
His first 5 startups didn't make money. They all failed.

Things didn't seem to be going well.

He convinced a stranger on a flight to invest $10k into his startup (legendary).

He decided to go all in and drop out of college for his new startup, Jenni AI.
Little did he know that this was going to change his life... -

So he booked a flight to Malaysia (to reduce cost of living). -
David flew around the world to attend pitches, even winning top 10 in the biggest startup competition in Korea.

Then one day, @heykahn wrote a viral tweet about Jenni AI.
This became one of the most viral Twitter threads ever -
Over night, Jenni AI 10X'd their monthly revenue.

Just when everything is flying, something hit him hard...
He got cancer. -
When his company needed him the most, he needed to fight another battle.

He was having both dreams and nightmares at the same time.
But... Thyroidectomy (removing a certain gland) saved him. -
He was discharged from the hospital, the same day OpenAI released ChatGPT API.

He hasn't stopped since.
Last week Jenni AI hit 1 million users. -
He told me his goal is to see a world where things are written WITH AI, not by AI.
