The extreme positions on both sides are not representative of the vast majority of people, but social and corporate media magnify them for business interests and politicians use them for career goals.

As a Brit, it is clear that the 2nd amendment is here to stay but IMO something needs to be done about mentally ill people having access to guns to murder kids in schools, and it isn't a good guy with a gun.

Equally, trans people existed long before the recent explosion of trans rights debates. The issue needs compassion but IMO the promotion of trans rights at the cost of child development and a females right to safe spaces/fair sporting competition is too far.
