1. Establish a strong naming convention

You want to be "data-driven" right? It is IMPOSSIBLE to get insights out of your data without a proper naming convention.
Create a detailed reference sheet once and make sure your team follows the naming convention *every single time*. -
Congrats. After a while, you'll be able to spot trends. See what's working and what's not.

Setting up a good convention is btw easier said than done. Here are some pointers: -
[Goal of campaign] – [Objective set in Facebook]

[Creative name] - [Angle] - [Copy] - [Variation]
All of it varies by platform. But add as much information as possible. With some GSheet magic, you can then break it easily down again. -
2. Build an idea bank

Creativity doesn't always strike when you need it to - Creative block can be a huge time suck.
Whenever you come up with a good idea/concept that's not useful in the moment, track it.
You never know when you might need the inspiration. -
There are many ways to save ads you like and things you want to test.

Use Word /GDoc. Screenshots + Google Drive. Dedicated Slack Channels. Just make sure to share it with your team.
You can also get fancy with something like @foreplay_co

3. Customize in bulk

Google Ads Editor is great! Use it for easy copy & paste.
Facebook / Meta makes is harder - but you can duplicate and use bulk uploads via CSV.
LinkedIn still hates Marketers and requires 234,323 clicks to get something launched with the right UTMs. -
4. Invest time into a proper setup

Tweak the reporting to your needs. Don't use the default columns Meta / Google throws at you. Customize it!
But don't stop here.
Implement your custom KPIs. CPLs for various conversions in Google Ads for example.
And don't forget the basics: -
Track all conversions the right way. Offline conversion tracking based on CRM data in Google Ads, etc.

Yes, it's a pain to set it up. But it's incredibly powerful.
Suddenly the almighty Google AI will not optimize for "conversions" but for paying customers or ROAS!!! -
The time you invest into a proper tech and reporting setup will be invaluable. Highest ROI activity most Marketing teams can do.

5. Delegate wherever you can
